ACP PROGRAM
Congress created the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP), which is a new, long-term $14 billion program that replaces the Emergency Broadband Benefit Program. The Affordable Connectivity Program or ACP is a federal program funded by the Infrastructure Investment & Jobs Act of 2021 that reduces the customer’s broadband Internet Service bill for eligible households. The customer may obtain ACP-supported broadband service from any participating provider of their choosing and may transfer their ACP Benefit to another provider at any time.
The ACP provides up to a $30.00 discount towards the standard rate for internet service and will run from midnight on December 31, 2021 and end when the federal program expires.
NextLight will give notice regarding the last date or billing cycle where Customer will receive the full benefit as well as information about the cost of Internet service after the program ends. Customer must opt-in to continue Internet services after the program expires. NextLight will stop providing Internet service to the Customer at the conclusion of the ACP unless the Customer agrees to continue to receive service. Customers who subscribed to NextLight’s service prior to commencement of the ACP must also opt-in to the continuation of services after the program ends. Upon cancellation or termination of the service, Customer shall return Equipment within seven (7) days to NextLight at the Service Center – 1100 S. Sherman St., Longmont, CO.
PROGRAM DISCOUNT
The ACP will provide up to a $30.00 discount for qualified services. NextLight will fund and provide up to an additional $20.00 per month discount for a total discount of up to $50.00. The discount will be used toward either the standard rate ($39.95 per month) for 100Mbps symmetrical speed tier or the standard rate ($69.95 per month) for the 1Gbps symmetrical speed tier Internet Plans. This discount will show up as a credit on your monthly bill. Customers are limited to one monthly service discount (ACP discount) per eligible household. Customers are responsible for any monthly cost for service above the ACP discount amount. ACP discounts may not be combined with any other NextLight discount.
