    Text: Acts 27:1-44

    Main Idea: When storms rage, God’s people can take comfort in God’s sovereign control & care, must trust God’s promises & must be a faithful witness to a lost world.

  • 1. We can take   . 

    • Because raging storms don’t mean that we are out of God’s      nor that God has lost      .
    • Because raging storms are opportunities for God to exercise special      for His people.  (v. 21-26, 1 Peter 5:6-7)


    2. We must      in the Lord.

    • Trusting in God is not at odds with the use of      and common sense. (v. 10)
    • Trusting in God means that we will      differently than the world who does not know God. (v. 22-26)
    • Trusting in God is not at odds with using every      that we have to get us out of the storm. (v. 27-38)


    3. We must always be a      witness.

    • Remember that the world is      us in the storms & will see our faith, hope and allegiance to God.  
    • We must point a lost world to      alone who can save their soul.
