Payment*

Payment is due at end of each groom. 6% sales tax will added to all grooming services and fees. We accept cash, check, or Venmo. Checks must be made payable to Doggie Stylez Mobile.Returned checks will incur a $30 fee, plus any fee our bank may charge. These fees plus the original service fee will be charged to your credit card on file plus the credit card processing fee (information required below).

Cancellation Policy*

In the event you are going to miss your scheduled appointment, we require 24 hours or more for appointment cancellations. Appointments cancelled with less than 24-hour notice will incur a $50 fee per pet paid via the owner’s credit card on file plus the credit card processing fee (information required below).We send out confirmation texts a minimum of 24 hours before appointments. Please respond to confirm your appointment in order to keep it. Unconfirmed appointments are considered a less than 24-hour notice cancellation.We reserve the right to not rebook any client whom has cancelled previously without 24-hour notice.

Appointments*

Appointments are always given a window of arrival. In the event that we will be later or earlier than the window times, we will notify you.If you cannot be contacted still 15 minutes after arrival and no reply at the door, we consider this less than 24 hour notice and you will be required to pay the cancellation fee of $50 per pet by the credit card on file.

Grooming Services

Your pets’ safety is our top priority. Please fill out the new client form as accurately as possible and include any and all prior medical conditions and allergies.We reserve the right to refuse any groom. We do NOT accept aggressive pets due to being one-on-one in the grooming trailer, for our safety as well as your pets’. We have the right to refuse, stop, or cancel grooming services.Accidents can still happen despite using extreme caution and care. Our equipment is sharp and unfortunately, pets move around a lot. Should an accident ever occur, we will notify you immediately. Should the injury require veterinary attention, we will reimburse expenses related to the accident.

Parking

We have a grooming trailer and we require an adequate parking and space to turn around or back out. If this is not possible in your driveway, we must park on the street.Once parked and the groom has started, we are unable to stop to move the vehicle. Any tickets or potential towing that might result from a parking issue will be the responsibility of the owner. We reserve the right to refuse any groom due to parking issues or unable to access the driveway/street parking.We ask that you do not interrupt the grooming process. Please do not knock or open the door. Instead, please text or call us if necessary.

Emergency Services

We understand unfortunate events can happen such as rolling in mud or something else, getting skunked, getting into burrs, etc. We are here to help if we can! Generally, we will try to accommodate you as soon as possible, but this may be same day, after hours or on the weekend. Additionally, we cannot guarantee we can accommodate an emergency visit. We charge an additional $50 for services falling in this category.If your pet should ever get skunked, avoid wetting them down with any cold water. Cold water will close their pores locking the smell in which will prevent stripping out the scent in a timely manner.Emergency services are only for existing clients on a regular (under 10 weeks) schedule.

Fleas and Ticks

It is the owner’s responsibility to provide proper flea and tick prevention.If a tick is found, we will remove it and then notify the owner.If fleas or flea dirt is found, we will notify you immediately, and will charge an additional $50-100 dependent on the pets’ size and amount of fleas/dirt for removal.

Vaccinations

We require an up-to-date rabies certificate for all pets being groomed including nail trims. This may be provided via text (picture) or email at doggiestylezmobile@gmail.comWe do not require other vaccinations and we are not responsible for any potential kennel cough symptoms or treatment costs if your pet is not protected against kennel cough.

Pictures

This form allows Doggie Stylez Salon & Spa LLC to take and use photos of your pet on our social media and website for advertising purposes.

Matting

We refuse to harm your dog by attempting to de-matt when it will cause excess stress or pain. We believe in “humanity before vanity” and if the matting is too severe, we will shave the pet. Your dog’s health is our main concern.Shaving may cause skin irritation, redness, sunburn, hot spots, etc.Moisture trapped at the skin from matting can cause hot spots, fungus, bacterial, or infections prior to the shaving process.Excessive licking, biting, scratching, hematomas and swelling due to matting can also occur.Veterinary expenses related to matting and the after effects of shaving are the financial responsibility of the owner.We highly recommend adding on our al-a-cart service deep conditioning/moisturizing treatment after shaving.

Should we require your help for any reason, or should you enter the grooming trailer for any reason, we are not liable for any accidents or injuries that may occur, grooming related or not. By signing this policy form, you acknowledge that you will not hold Carissa Hall or Doggie Stylez Mobile Salon & Spa responsible for any accident or injury to you, your pet, or your property while entering, exiting, or occupying the unit.

I understand and agree to the above terms for the grooming and maintenance of my pet(s) and in consideration of the grooming services of Doggie Stylez Mobile Salon & Spa agree to hold harmless from damage, loss, or claims arising from any known or unknown pre-existing condition of my pet(s). The terms special services or handling shall include but are not limited to veterinary services in the event I am not available. I authorize Doggie Stylez Mobile Salon & Spa to act as my agent in the event emergency veterinary services, care-taking, and/or transportation is necessary, and I agree to pay all costs. Any and all damages, loss, or claim shall include, but not limited to death, injury, or shock. Said pre-existing shall include, but not limited to illness, previous injury, skin or coat conditions, medical conditions, advanced age or nervousness.

I authorize Doggie Stylez Mobile Salon & Spa to charge my credit card on file for any cancellation or returned check fees, plus tax, credit card processing fees and/or services.
