The GAD-7 measures anxiety to help assess whether an anxiety disorder, particularly Generalized Anxiety Disorder, may be present. However, it is primarily a screening tool. It is not meant to be used to diagnose an anxiety disorder. The results should be discussed with your doctor or therapist.
