Acknowledgement and Assumption of Risks & Release
In consideration of the services of Aska’s Pet Services LLC (“AA”), I acknowledge and agree as follows:

ACKNOWLEDGMENT AND ASSUMPTION OF RISKS

AA services on or off property owned or leased by AA, Langwood Acres, LLC or Aska Shiratori-Langman, may include, but are not limited to animal boarding (the 'services'). Customers may engage AA in the services independently or as conducted by AA staff or contractors. I acknowledge that the inherent and other risks, hazards and dangers of the services can cause injury, sickness, property damage, illness, mental or emotional trauma, paralysis, disability or death to the customer, his or her animal(s), or others. I understand that AA staff members, officers, directors, agents, or contractors cannot eliminate any of these risks. Customer is engaging the services of AA with knowledge of the risks. Therefore, customer assumes and accepts full responsibility for the inherent and other risks (both known and unknown) of the services and for any injury, damage, death or other loss suffered by customer, his or her animals, or others, resulting from those risks.

RELEASE AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT

Please read carefully. This Release and Indemnity Agreement contains a surrender of certain legal rights. I agree as follows:
1) to release and agree not to sue AA, Langwood Acres, LLC, or Aska Shiratori-Langman with respect to any and all claims, liabilities, suits or expenses (including attorneys’ fees and costs) (hereafter collectively 'claim' or 'claim/s') for any injury, damage, death or other loss in any way connected with the services or use of AA, Langwood Acres, LLC, or Aska Shiratori-Langman’s equipment, facilities or premises. I understand that in signing this Document, I surrender all rights to make a claim against AA, Langwood Acres, LLC, or Aska Shiratori-Langman as a result of any injury, damage, death or other loss suffered by me or my animal(s);

2) to defend and indemnify ('indemnify' meaning protect by reimbursement or payment) AA, Langwood Acres, LLC, or Aska Shiratori-Langman with respect to any and all claim/s brought by or on behalf of me, or any other person for any injury, damage, death or other loss in any way connected with the services or use of AA, Langwood Acres, LLC, or Aska Shiratori-Langman’s equipment, facilities or premises. This Release and Indemnity Agreement includes claim/s resulting from AA’s, Langwood Acres, LLC, or Aska Shiratori- Langman’s ordinary or gross negligence, property damage, breach of contract or any other claim.

I agree that Idaho substantive law (without regard to its 'conflict of laws' rules) govern this Document. If any portion of this Document is deemed unlawful or unenforceable it shall not affect the remaining provisions, and those remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. I have carefully read, understand and voluntarily sign this Document, and acknowledge that it shall be effective and binding upon me.

Boarding Policies

• All dogs must be current on vaccinations.
• Boarding is available 365 days a year.  Peak Holidays are: Spring Break (Generally last two week of March-first week of April), Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Over these periods, a minimum three night stay is required and there is limited availability for new clients. 
• Reservations will be confirmed once we have been given exact dates for your pet(s) visit.  General time frames of your travels are not considered a reservation. I will do my best to accommodate you and your pets but please make sure you confirm dates for your reservation with me as soon as you have confirmed travel plans.

Cancellation Policies

• Please make every effort to keep me informed of all changes in itinerary and cancellations. Shortening the duration of a stay is considered a cancellation during peak and holiday times.  If cancellations are made on a regular basis, we will require a 50% deposit for non-peak period reservations and a 100% deposit for peak/holiday period reservations.
  • Non-Peak periods:  7 days or less prior to date of arrival.
    • Cancellations for boarding made within the 7 day period prior to confirmed date, or a no show, will be charged 50% of the total boarding fee.
  •  Peak/Holiday periods: 2 weeks (14 days) prior to date of arrival.
    
    • Cancellations for boarding made after this time will be charged 100% of the total for the reserved space

Pick Up & Drop Off

• If you are dropping off or picking up all arrivals and departures must occur in the driveway for the safety of all animals here.  
• Please arrive promptly when scheduled when coming to the house.  A lot of care and management is put into the safety of the dogs here and advance notice of your arrival is always required.  
• Pick up and Drop off service is available to Jackson for a $50 charge per trip.
