ELIGIBILITY
A candidate may be nominated by a local SkillsUSA Florida chapter. The nomination form must be accompanied by up to five (5) letters of support from SkillsUSA members, CTE instructors, SkillsUSA advisors, parents, advisory committee members, etc. The letters of support must demonstrate the administrator’s commitment to the SkillsUSA Chapter.
Honorees to be recognized as Cornerstone Award recipients must be associated with local school districts, including superintendents, principals, assistant principals, guidance counselors, or school board members. A person may be nominated and inducted posthumously.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Separate nominations may be submitted for as many individuals as desired.
The deadline for submission is February 28.
This award will be given to no more than four individuals per year.
REQUIRED INFORMATION
- Nominee name, email, phone, school/district
- Nominee role within the school/district
- Nominator name, email, phone, relationship to nominee
- Nominator organization/company
- Describe the nominee’s efforts, at a state level, to help youth develop the components of the SkillsUSA Framework (personal, workplace and technical skills grounded in academics) necessary to be successful in a constantly changing world.
- How have the nominee’s efforts made a lasting impact on the SkillsUSA Florida state association?
- Attach at least one and up to five letters of support and supplementary materials (newspaper articles, etc.)
