  • How did this Pledge come about?

San Diego is one of the 13 highest sex trafficking areas in the United States, according to the FBI, and the number of trafficking victims in San Diego continues to increase every year. The REACH Coalition was created to help address this tragedy in a collaborative way. REACH stands for Recover, Empower, Advocate, Collaborate, and Heal. This task force works to identify and fill gaps in service provision throughout the County and increase the competency of service providers in the fight to combat human trafficking in our community. One of the ways we are increasing awareness is through an educational campaign for January's Human Trafficking Awareness Month.
