YWECC 2023 Summer Internship Application

Dear Applicant,

Thank you for your interest in the 2023 Summer Internship Program at West End Community Church, PCA in Nashville, TN. We are seeking college-aged men and women who are committed to following Christ and have a desire to care for students. Summer Intern applicants must have completed their freshman year of college (or be age equivalent) to qualify.

As you pray and thoughtfully consider if this is what God has for you this summer, please complete the application and have a pastor and peer fill out the attached reference sheets. We will contact you once your application is received. We are so excited to continue this internship program as we have seen summer interns become invaluable resources to our ministry. A summer intern has the unique opportunity to invest in the lives of our young people and have an incredible impact on advancing the kingdom for Christ. While you are serving our students, our desire is also to offer an encouraging environment that enhances and develops your skills and gifts as you discern the Lord’s calling on your life.

The salary for our summer internship program is $4,500.00 for the May 22-July 27 time period along with mileage reimbursement and an additional expense account to be used for spending time with students. Also, if you do not live in the Nashville area, we will provide a host family for you during your summer of service.

Decisions on applicants are based on your completed application and follow-up conversations. Given the nature of our relationally-focused ministry, being able to drive and have access to your own vehicle is a prerequisite.
