• What you MUST show the examiner when you take a LGV reversing or driving test or a CPC Mod 4

    Since November 2021 there have been changes to the LGV testing rules. These changes involve having to produce more items to show the examiner before the test can go ahead. Please enter the details below very carefully to make sure you know exactly what to bring with you as it is different depending on your current licence and which test you are taking.
  • There is an error! You cannot take either a Cat C Reversing or Cat C Driving test if you already hold a Full cat C licence.

  • You  hold a Car licence only and will be taking a Cat C (Rigid) Reversing test (Mod 3a) . You must produce the following at the test centre

    1) Your driving licence

    2) Your theory test pass certificate (The one with the Pass Certificate number) 

  • You hold a Car licence only and will be taking a Cat C (Rigid) Driving test (Mod 3b) . You must produce the following at the test centre

    1) Your driving licence

    2) Your reversing test (Mod 3a) Pass Certificate

    3) Your theory test pass certificate (The one with the Pass Certificate number) 

  • You  hold a Car licence only and will be taking a Cat C+E (Artic) Reversing test (Mod 3a) . You must produce the following at the test centre

    1) Your driving licence

    2) Your theory test pass certificate (The one with the Pass certificate number) 

    3) Your provisional category upgrade emails from the DVLA. 

  • You  hold a Car licence only and will be taking a Cat C+E (Artic) Driving test (Mod 3b) . You must produce the following at the test centre

    1) Your driving licence

    2) Your reversing test (Mod 3a) Pass Certificate

    3) Your theory test pass certificate (The one with the Pass Certificate number) 

    4) Your provisional category upgrade emails from the DVLA. 

  • You  hold a Full Cat C licence already and will be taking a Cat C+E (Artic) Reversing test (Mod 3a) . You must produce the following at the test centre

    1) Your driving licence

     

  • You  hold a Full Cat C licence already and will be taking a Cat C+E (Artic) Driving test (Mod 3b) . You must produce the following at the test centre

    1) Your driving licence

    2) Your reversing test (Mod 3a) Pass Certificate

     

  • You  hold a Full Cat C licence and will be taking a CPC Module 4 test . You must produce the following at the test centre

    1) Your driving licence

    2) Your CPC Mod 2 (case studies) Pass Certificate

     

  • You  hold a Full Car licence and will be taking a CPC Module 4 test . You must produce the following at the test centre

    1) Your driving licence

    2) Your CPC Mod 2 (case studies) Pass Certificate
