VOLUNTEER LIABILITY WAIVER

I, the undersigned, hereby agree that I am providing volunteer services to New Beginnings Animal Rescue. This may include assisting in adoptions of pets as well as cleaning the cat habitat centers on behalf of NBAR at local PetSmart and Petco stores. I understand that neither NBAR, nor, affiliated adoption partner is responsible for any illness or injury caused by any animals that I come into contact with during my volunteer work. I agree to hold harmless and release from liability NBAR, and any adoption partner, including but not limited to Petsmart and Petco should I become sick or injured from any animals as a result of my volunteer work.

By becoming a Volunteer, I hereby waive, release, discharge, and hold harmless NBAR and its agents, employees, directors, representatives and other volunteers charged or chargeable with liability, their heirs, administrators, executors, successors, and assigns, from any and all claims, damages, costs, expenses, loss of services, actions, and causes of actions, whether known or unknown, belonging to me, my agents and assigns, due to any action or occurrence or damage which arises in connection with my volunteer activities, including, but not limited to animal bites to me by a NBAR animal.

I agree not to attempt to hold NBAR Board of Directors responsible for any damages, which said animal(s), may do to any person or property. I specifically relieve NBAR Board of Directors of any responsibility pertaining to any damage to property or personal injury or any occurrence relating to said animal(s) and shall hold NBAR Board of Directors harmless regarding any damage or injury of any nature whatsoever, and agree to notify NBAR Board of Directors immediately of any damages and/or injury.

If any litigation arising out of this Agreement, the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover reasonable attorney's fees and costs.

I, the undersigned agree to maintain the dignity and integrity of the organization with the public and honor confidential information.

I, the below named Volunteer, understand that New Beginnings Animal Rescue and its representatives have limited information regarding the temperament and habits of the animals under its care and ownership. As a Volunteer for NBAR, I agree to take all reasonable precautions (through the use of crates, leashes, supervision, and common sense) to ensure that the animal does not run loose, become a nuisance, destroy property, injure or be injured by another animal, be injured by any person, or injure me or another person.
