Eligibility Criteria - At large applicant:
- A student must have a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher (unweighted GPA based on a 4.0 scale) in either high school or college
- A student must be a child, grandchild or stepchild of an NEPGA Member in good standing
- A student must be accepted for admission to a two-year or four-year college or university
- A student must be enrolled as a full-time student or be accepted as an incoming freshman pursuing a full-time course load
Required Material
High School Seniors
- Official Transcript with Cumulative GPA (must be 3.2 or above)
- Student Aid Report (SAR), if applicable
Current College Students
- Official transcript with Cumulative GPA (must be 3.2 or above)
- Most recently completed semester GPA
- Student Aid Report (SAR), if applicable
If you apply for the PGA of America scholarship your application will automatically be submitted to New England PGA for the George S Wemyss Scholarship.
Students are eligible to receive the PGA of America Financial Assistance Fund a maximum of two out of the four years they are in college. The years do not have to be consecutive, so please be sure to apply every year. Students are eligible to receive the George S Wemyss Scholarship for all four years they attend college.
Students are eligible to receive both the PGA of America Financial Assistance Fund and the NEPGA George S Wemyss Scholarship in the same year.
