On July 27, 1972 the F-15A Eagle took to the skies for the first time, from Edwards Air Force Base in California. Fast forward to 2022, and the Eagle is still in production, now as the F-15EX.
Please join us for our last dinner meeting of the spring, as we commemorate the Eagle’s first flight. Mark Nankavill of the Saint Louis Air and Space Museum will describe the early years of flight testing the Eagle. Mark will be joined by Matt Geise, Boeing’s F-15 Chief Pilot, to bring us up to date on the newest generation of Eagle.
