  • St. Joseph Catholic Academy is thrilled to announce the initial launch of the Pauline McTernan Scholarship.  Pauline was a dedicated employee who served the St. Joseph community for 21 years. Known for her exceptional contributions, Pauline played a crucial role in various school initiatives, raising an impressive $5.3 million through her fundraising efforts. Starting as the Development Director in 2002 after a successful teaching career, she organized numerous events and fostered strong relationships with donors and alumni. Pauline was actively involved as a volunteer and parent before her official role, and her faith has guided her work. She founded several programs, including the Spirit Committee and PALS, and enhanced the school's performing arts through FOPA. Additionally, she spearheaded a principal mentorship program, supporting the school's leadership team. In her retirement, this scholarship was created to commemorate Pauline's remarkable legacy of unwavering commitment and leadership, which will serve as an inspiration to the SJCA community for years to come.
