Puppy Preference
We recognize that this is an exciting time for potential puppy parents, and we have initiated a waiting list to ensure selection in the order of approval. While we understand the desire to visit our puppies, we currently do not permit home visits for the safety of both the puppies and ourselves. However, we provide regular updates, including photos and videos, at least weekly, so you can observe the puppies until the time you can meet them in person. Typically, all our puppies find homes before reaching 8 weeks of age. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or concerns.

Completing this application marks a step in the process of potentially acquiring a puppy from Ewenique Herding Kennel, but approval does not guarantee a puppy from the current or any future litters. While unlikely, the breeder retains the right to refuse any placement at any time.

If your application is approved, you will be notified when the puppies are born. We do require a $500 non-refundable deposit to be placed on the wait list, which will go toward the total price of the puppy/litter of your choice. Please be aware of our deposit policy: making a deposit commits you to taking a puppy from the current litter or a future one. If circumstances prevent you from keeping the puppy, it must be returned to us for rehoming.

Occasionally, we may decide to retain a puppy from a litter, and we reserve the right to do so. This means that certain puppies may not be available for a brief period while we make decisions. Puppies will be ready to go to their new homes at 8 weeks, and we cannot hold them for extended periods, as it is crucial for their social development that they depart within a reasonable timeframe. Puppies must be picked up within 7 days unless alternative written arrangements are made.

A contract is a mandatory requirement for puppy placement, reflecting our commitments to each other. The contract is comprehensive, aiming to eliminate uncertainties, and we recommend addressing any questions about specific terms before picking up your puppy.

Please note that we do not allow any puppy to leave our property before reaching 8 weeks of age, without exceptions.
