Next Mama Rising series begins on March 9th, 2026

I am Alejandra DeMaio, IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant), doula, childbirth educator, & advocate for conscious pregnancy, natural childbirth, connected parenting and healthy living.

I perceive pregnancy & childbirth as a unique transition in our lives that creates opportunities to deeply connect with ourselves, our partner and our baby. And the postpartum as a sacred but challenging initiation into parenthood.

The mission of our gatherings is to create a nurturing community for families in the postpartum year. Our gatherings have a simple rhythm, and our highest priority is the well-being and care for the parents and babies.

During our time together, we will :

* Listen & acknowledge our experience

* Sing songs & play games which create ritual, rhythm, and bonding

* Cultivate community support & share resources

* Have teaching moments/infant care & baby development

* Learn from wise women in our community (guest speakers)

* Share any needs & offers with the group

* Savor nourishing, plant based, mostly organic, gluten & dairy free snacks at each gathering

We begin on Monday, March 9th at 10 am.

Mama Rising series is four weekly sessions on Mondays from 10 am-12 pm from March 9th - March 30th, 2026

We gather at the Awakening Well House located at 230 Benmore Drive, Winter Park FL.

There are a few parking spots in our lot, some street parking and a free garage down the street at the Center for Wellbeing.
