Application for Grant Funding - 2026/27
  • Application for Grant Funding

    New for 2026/27
  • Please note and complete all the parts of this application form.

The Trust operates a matched funding model whereby any Bonar Trust grant will not exceed the funding offered by the local church - please do not request more than this.

All grants are means-tested and will not exceed any anticipated financial shortfall, namely the gap between your expected income and usual, household costs - please do not request more than this.

We expect to see some evidence that you are raising support from personal supporters and other Trusts, over and above your church support.

There is a box at the end of the form for any supplementary information to support your application.

Please discuss the details with your minister/pastor or person responsible for your training programme prior to submitting your application, to ensure everything is correct - particularly the financial section. If you wish, you can save the form to show to them prior to submission. Submitting a form with errors causes extra work for all involved, so please be sure that all information is correct before submission, and that expected expenses are your usual, household day to day costs.

Once you have completed the form, it will automatically be forwarded to your minister/pastor or person responsible for the training programme for confirmation that they support your application, and that the information on this form is accurate. It is then your responsibility to ensure that they confirm and submit it to us by the deadline below.

If you have any questions in relation to this form or the application process, please contact us at: administrator@bonartrust.org

The deadline for receipt of a fully correct and authorised form is 30 April 2026.

Grant application decisions will be communicated in mid-June.
