Adjunct Faculty Excellence in Education Award

The Adjunct Faculty Excellence in Education Award recognizes an adjunct faculty member or lectureship for their contributions toward Mid’s Enduring Goal of Encouraging Student Success and our Core Value of Learning. The ideal recipient should engage and stimulate students, convey excitement about their discipline, set high expectations, and challenge students. The Mid Michigan College Foundation has graciously sponsored this award. The recipient will receive an award of $500.
Nomination Criteria

In order to be nominated for the Adjunct Faculty Excellence in Education Award, a nominee:
- Must be an adjunct faculty member who has been employed or appointed via EDUStaff to Mid for at least two (2) years.
- Has not previously received the award.
- Must be in good standing.
- May be nominated by any member of the Mid community (e.g. students, faculty, EDUStaff employees, alumni).
- All nominations are submitted without the nominee’s knowledge.
The Adjunct Faculty Excellence in Education committee will review the submitted nominations for the award and select a recipient.

Nominations are due each year by March 15, and recipients are recognized at an awards presentation in April.
