The intent is to provide funds in the event that a horse owner has unexpected expenses or has lost their regular income. The grant is intended to tide one over so they can keep their horse. The grants are not intended for persons who can adequately provide for their horses. Please be cognizant when you apply that we have limited funds and consider those most in need when we provide grants.
