1. No Refund / No Return Policy
I understand and agree that all sales are final. This includes, but is not limited to:
Hair wefts and extension hair
Installation services
Deposits, booking fees, and service charges
Once hair has been purchased or installed, no refunds, returns, or exchanges will be issued for any reason. I understand that hair is a custom, hygienic product and cannot be reused or resold.
2. Assumption of Risk
I acknowledge that although my stylist is trained and certified in professional hair extension techniques, hair extension services carry inherent risks, including but not limited to:
Hair breakage or shedding
Thinning or traction-related stress
Scalp irritation, soreness, or sensitivity
Allergic reactions to products or materials
Discomfort or tenderness
Damage resulting from improper aftercare
I understand that results vary based on my natural hair condition, lifestyle, health, and compliance with aftercare instructions.
3. Client Responsibility & Disclosure
I confirm that:
I have disclosed all relevant information about my hair and scalp history, including chemical treatments, hair loss, medical conditions, medications, or sensitivities.
I understand that failure to follow recommended aftercare and maintenance guidelines may result in damage, and the stylist and salon are not responsible for such outcomes.
I am responsible for scheduling and attending required maintenance and move-up appointments.
I understand that heat styling, swimming, sweating, sleeping habits, friction, and use of non-professional products can negatively impact my extensions.
4. No Guarantee of Results
I understand that results are not guaranteed. The stylist and salon do not guarantee:
Longevity of extensions
Specific density, thickness, or fullness
Hair growth or prevention of hair loss
That extensions will be completely damage-free
All services are cosmetic only and depend on individual factors.
5. Release of Liability
I hereby release, waive, and hold harmless Salty Manes LLC, Coastal Strands Hair Co. LLC, and Amanda Short, individually and collectively, including all owners, employees, contractors, partners, and affiliates, from any and all claims, demands, damages, or liabilities arising from or related to:
Hair extension installation, adjustment, or removal
Use of extension hair or products
Any injury, irritation, discomfort, hair loss, or damage to my hair or scalp
This release applies to both known and unknown risks, and I agree not to pursue legal action for any outcome related to these services.
6. No Responsibility for Third-Party Products or Services
I understand that the stylist and salon are not responsible for damage caused by:
Products purchased elsewhere
Services performed by other stylists
At-home chemical treatments
Improper self-removal of extensions
7. Photography & Marketing Consent (Optional)
I grant permission for Salty Manes LLC and Coastal Strands Hair Co. LLC to take photographs or videos of my hair for marketing, social media, website, and educational purposes.
8. Medical Disclaimer
I understand that hair extension services are cosmetic only and not medical treatment. I acknowledge that I am not under the care of a physician for any condition that would prevent me from receiving these services safely.
9. Agreement & Consent
I have read and fully understand this agreement. I have had the opportunity to ask questions and agree to all terms voluntarily.
