The Saskatoon SPCA is currently recruiting foster families for canines. Please ensure that you provide as much information as possible. Your answers will be used to match your home to animals in need. A basic knowledge of animal care and behaviour, as well as a willingness to learn and/or attend further training is required. While it is possible to rehabilitate most animals that are fostered, there may be occasions when a decision to euthanize or transfer is made. Please describe your concerns, philosophies and beliefs on this, making reference to your ability to accept this decision.
Saskatoon SPCA foster dogs are not permitted to be off-leash unless they are in your own fenced in backyard, they cannot meet other dogs who do not live in the household, and they cannot go with you while you travel. You cannot take a foster dog to training classes, daycare, boarding facilities, or to the groomers. I agree to follow these rules.*
