Griffin Hall is ANU's only Non-Residential Hall, with the aims of providing a community for off-campus students and creating opportunities for engagement with campus life. Griffin provides access to Interhall sports, arts and social events as well as internal activities and pastoral care support for members.
This is the application form for Griffin Hall Membership in 2022. If you complete this membership application, the University will collect some personal information from you in this form. We will use the information you provide to manage the member services we provide, and to contact you from time to time about Griffin Hall activities and related matters. If you do not consent to this use of your personal information, we may not be able to provide you with some of the benefits of membership, such as access to Griffin Hall services or events.
It may take up to a week for your membership to be processed. Once it has been processed, the University will provide your name, u-number, membership status and any information you provide about your interests in this form, to student leaders in the Griffin Hall Members’ Association (GHMA) Committee, Griffin Hall Community Assistants (CAs), Griffin Hall Academic Mentors (AMs) and Griffin Hall Inward Bound (IB) Coaches. This enables these student leaders to verify your current membership and entitlement to participate in Griffin Hall and Interhall events, and to update you about events and activities you might like to participate in.
In order to apply for Griffin Hall, you must;
Be a current student at the Australian National University (unless applying for an Associate Resident Membership),
Not be a member of any other residential Hall, College or Lodge.
