Quarantine can end AFTER Day 5 of quarantine if:

• No symptoms of COVID-19 were reported during the daily symptom monitoring at home on day 1-5 of quarantine. Quarantine cannot be discontinued earlier than completion of Day 5.

• Masks MUST be worn days 6-10 of quarantine; if a mask is not worn, a 10-day quarantine period must be observed at home

• DHEC recommends close contacts are tested for COVID-19 no sooner than Day 5 of after exposure. A negative test is not required to return to school. At-home covid tests will not be accepted at this time.

If the above criteria is met, please complete this form below. The early return request will be reviewd to determine if the criteria for this shortened quarantine option are met and you will receive an email with a new return date. Please do NOT send your child to school until you have received an email with a new return date. The school will be notified of all changes in return dates.

Household Contact Quarantine
Houshold contact begins their quarantine period when the isolation period of the positive household member ends. This may be a minimum of 5 days or up to 10 days after onset of symptoms or test date if asypmtotic depending on when the positive persons symptoms significantly improve.

Information submitted below will be reviewed and a new return date will be determine for the house hold contact. New return dates will be sent via email. Please do NOT send your child to school until you have received an email with a new return date. The school will be notified of all changes in return dates.

I understand that students and staff member are REQUIRED to wear a mask to school until their 10 day quarantine period has ended. If the student or staff member does not wear their mask appropriately throughout the school day (except when eating/drinking) parents will be asked to pick their child up from school so they can complete the remaining quarantine period at home. Please review with your child the proper way to wear a mask and the requirement to wear the mask.
