    launching the independent zine at long last!

  • The first issue of SQUIRT (an independent zine) will be released this winter of 2023. The theme overall is introducing the zine istelf, and taking a focus on referencing the past while stepping into a brand new year. Introducing new work and new creative people that I have met along the way but also talking about topics that have happened within the last year.

    Please submit pieces that you think would fit this theme and if by chance you think there's nothing that might, please share your stronges passion projects. Such pieces can be art, design, essays, poetry, pottery, photography, textiles, fashion etc etc etc, anything in the arts. 

    Submission deadline is February 10th, 2023 and I will reach out to everyone who will be published once the zine has been launched digitally.

  • Below are questions to answer that will be featured in the first issue. Please answer all in an honest, genuine way. 

  • 1. All works submited must be in JPEG or PDF format. If you would like to submit works separately via email, send as attachments to wildpoppyartdesign@gmail.com

    2. All Submissions must be received by Friday, April 1st, 2022. Selected Artists will be contacted no later than Friday, August 15, 2022 regarding the next steps.

    3. Subject to the foregoing, the artist shall retain all other rights to the artwork, including copyright ownership of the artwork. The artist hereby warrants that the artwork is an original work of the artist, does not contain any third party copyrighted material or material that is subject to other third party proprietary rights, and that the artist has the full right, power, and authority to sign this Submission Form and Agreement and to grant the rights agreed to be granted hereunder. The artist agrees that the artwork is being submitted at the artist’s own risk. The artist further agrees that SQUIRT shall not be responsible or have any liability for any damage, loss, or theft of the submitted artwork at any time. The artist hereby agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Sponsors from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses (including, without limitation, reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from any breach by the artist of any representation or warranty made hereunder.

    4. The artist acknowledges that no compensation other than what is stated in this Submission Form and Agreement will be provided by SQUIRT or any third party. For good and valuable consideration received, the artist hereby releases and discharges SQUIRT, their principals, officers, trustees, representatives, employees, agents, licensees, successors, and assigns from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action that the artist may now have or may hereafter have for libel, defamation, invasion of privacy or right of publicity, infringement of copyright or violation of any other right arising out of or relating to any utilization of the artwork, or the artist’s name, likeness, or biographical information or the exercise of any of the rights granted by this document.

  • Should be Empty:
