  • Thank you for your interest in applying for The David Canter Memorial Fund. Awards are selected and administered by its Trustees, MAKE Southwest. 

    In 2026, working with our Green Maker Initiative, the fund will support makers in reducing their environmental impact within their craft practice.

    Deadline for applications is Wednesday 31 December 2025, 8pm (after which date, the application form will close).

     

    You cannot save and come back to this form at a later date. We advise that you read through the form and prepare your answers on a separate document and then input into the relevant form fields.

    Our maximum award is usually in the region of £500, although this is not a rigid guideline.

    Awards are not usually made to cover the cost of buying consumables, i.e., raw materials.

    Please be as specific as you can about your plans and explain how an award will help to advance your work in the area of sustainability. Include precise costings where possible.
