CALL FOR EDUCATIONAL SESSION PROPOSALS

The National Adult Day Services Association (NADSA) national conference is the largest gathering of Adult Day Services (ADS) decisionmakers in the country. We hope that you will join us in Pittsburgh as a presenter of an educational session.

Here are just a few session content ideas, but are not limited to:

Person-Directed Wellbeing

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

All submitters are required to provide the following information:

Main Presenter Contact Information Main Presenter Bio (75 words max)
Additional Presenter(s) Contact Information (3 additional max)
Additional Presenter(s) Bio(s) (75 words max, per Bio)
Session Title (NADSA may edit for clarity/space)
Three (3) Learning Objectives (required for CEU approval)
Session Description (100 words max, NADSA may edit for clarity/space)
Biographies must be included to be considered.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

To submit a session proposal, please follow these submission guidelines:

All EDUCATION sessions will be 60 minutes (no mid-way break)
All proposals must be educational in nature – session platform, audio-visual materials, or handout materials cannot be used to showcase, promote or sell business products/services.
There is no fee to submit a proposal, but you must be a current NADSA member both when you submit and present at the conference.
Presentations should focus on current or emerging issues, challenges, best practices, or other key areas of interest to Adult Day Services.

PROPOSAL STATUS NOTIFICATION: We will do our best to notify by
June 15.

You will receive notification of the status of your proposal during the week of June 14, 2022. Acceptance may be contingent upon your willingness to combine elements of your proposal with another presenter/proposal. Please hold the conference dates of October 12-14, 2022 open until notified of your proposal status. Note: October 12 sessions are Pre-conference sessions.

Title of Session: (8-10 words) NADSA reserves the right to edit for clarity/space.

PROPOSAL SUBMISSION DEADLINE: February 28, 2022
To be considered, proposals must include ALL requested information.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE FEES

All Presenters MUST register by July 15, 2022 (Early Bird Registration deadline). Presenter registration is a requirement to present at the conference.

LEAD PRESENTERS’ RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide complete information for up to three (3) proposed presenters per session. Incomplete proposals will not be considered.
Review Submission Guidelines with each presenter prior to proposal submission.
Provide a Bio (75 words max) for each proposed presenter.
Communicate the accept/decline status of the proposal to all additional presenters.
Allow NADSA to list your contact information on printed, electronic, and online materials.
Presenters' must register for the conference.

Description of Session: Provide a narrative description (no more than 100 words) that summarizes the session. If your proposal is selected, this narrative will be used in the Conference Brochure/Schedule. NADSA reserves the right to edit for clarity/space.

Learning Objectives for Session: List three (3) objectives of the session that specify what will be learned as a result of attending the session. NADSA reserves the right to edit for clarity/space and CEU requirements.
