All coaches shall abide by the TSRL Coaches' Code of Conduct which includes the following provisions: A. Treat all players, league officials, game officials and spectators with dignity and respect. B. Provide an environment conducive to fair and equitable competition. C. Use the influential position of coach as an opportunity to promote, teach and expect sportsmanship and fair play. D. Become knowledgeable, understanding and supportive of all applicable game rules, league rules, regulation and policies. E. Abide by and support the rules of the game as well as the spirit of the rules. F. Teach and require compliance of these rules among players. G. Discourage illegal contact or intentional dangerous play and administer swift and equitable discipline to players involved in such activity. H. Maintain a positive, helpful and supportive attitude. I. Exhibit gracious acceptance of defeat or victory. J. In the spirit of good sportsmanship, not encourage their team to run up the score of a game well in hand. In these instances, best efforts shall be used to remove dominant players and let alternate players play K. Use the influential position of coach as an opportunity to promote addiction and codependence recovery in accordance with our primary purpose, fun & fellowship. L. Not permit an ineligible player to participate in a game. M.Noncompliance with the TSRL Coaches Code of Conduct shall result in disciplinary action as determined necessary by the Board of Directors. Disciplinary action may include, but not be limited to the following: Written Warning, Game Suspension, Coaching Suspension
