A practitioner-led session (via Zoom) for new and existing line managers of early-career professionals from communities that are under-represented in the sector. We'll look at:

Best practice in line management; supporting underrepresented early career professionals
The life cycle of the CA Springboard entry support programme; from induction to approaching the end of the traineeship, preparing for next steps
The expectations of your working relationship
Understanding intersectional identities and power imbalances
What are the stumbling blocks, and how to overcome them
Support with next steps, approaching the end of their contract

The workshop will provide a safe space in which to raise questions and practice responses and a supportive environment for learning, reflection and relaxed conversation. Please note that this workshop is capped at 15 attendees to ensure plenty of time for questions and discussion.
