A practitioner-led session (via Zoom) for new and existing line managers of early-career professionals from communities that are under-represented in the sector. We'll look at:
- Best practice in line management; supporting underrepresented early career professionals
- The life cycle of the CA Springboard entry support programme; from induction to approaching the end of the traineeship, preparing for next steps
- The expectations of your working relationship
- Understanding intersectional identities and power imbalances
- What are the stumbling blocks, and how to overcome them
- Support with next steps, approaching the end of their contract
The workshop will provide a safe space in which to raise questions and practice responses and a supportive environment for learning, reflection and relaxed conversation. Please note that this workshop is capped at 15 attendees to ensure plenty of time for questions and discussion.
