VOLUNTEER RECOGNITION AWARDS

The following awards are designed for OLLI volunteers who have made significant contributions to the success and development of the USF Osher Lifelong Learning Institute.

• Award of Excellence
• Above & Beyond Award
• Lifetime Achievement Award

Volunteers who are nominated for these awards should demonstrate, reflect and be considered based on the qualities listed below:

• Exemplifies the spirit of volunteerism
• Performs above and beyond the call of duty
• Promotes the importance of being accountable and dependable
• Offers to cross-train, substitute and be flexible with work schedules
• Demonstrates and maintains a positive attitude
• Shows genuine enthusiasm
• Seeks ways to improve service to others
• Participates in and supports OLLI events

All nominations will be reviewed by the Volunteer Management Committee’s Recognition Sub-Committee. Winners will be announced at the OLLI Volunteer Recognition Event on Thursday, April 30, 2020.

Deadline for submissions is Friday, Mar. 11, 2022 at 5:00 p.m.

Nominations for awards will be accepted from staff, faculty, volunteers and members.

Please provide a brief statement (100-250 words) using examples of why you feel this person should be nominated to receive one of the designated awards. Include any or all outstanding efforts or accomplishments made by this nominee. Describe this person's unique qualities or special talents.
