• The Emory University Department of Orthopaedics offers a six-week summer immersion program designed to introduce motivated undergraduate and early medical students to the field of orthopaedic surgery.

Participants engage in structured clinical observation, professional mentorship, and educational programming intended to deepen understanding of orthopaedic practice, academic medicine, and career pathways in healthcare. The program emphasizes exposure, preparation, and informed exploration of the field.

This experience is particularly well-suited for students seeking guided entry into academic medicine who have had little to no exposure to clinical settings or mentorship.
