IT'S TIME TO GET BACK TO SHENANIGANS
Grab your fellow leprechauns and don your green attire! Tradition returns as an authentic Irish celebration takes over the streets of San Diego’s historic Gaslamp Quarter district on Saturday, March 12th from 2pm to Midndight. Heading back to its roots, the 26th Annual ShamROCK provides a full lineup of the nation’s top Irish & Celtic Rock bands, iconic tribute performances and Irish dancers galore! Full of Ireland’s humble jest and rowdy cheer, this treasured San Diego tradition brings back more Irish faire, lucky libations and outrageous shenanigans than ever see before in the Emerald Isle of the West Coast!
ShamROCK has been produced for 26 years by the Gaslamp Quarter Historical Foundation (GQHF) which is dedicated to the preservation of the architecture, culture and history of the Gaslamp Quarter. This one-day St. Patrick’s Day affair funds the year-long GQHF programs including the operations of the William Heath Davis House Museum at 4th & Island. The 2020 and 2021 event cancellations created nearly insurmountable strain on the Foundation ability to persist, often operating on a month-to-month basis with no certainty of a future. In 2022, we celebrate St. Patrick’s Day to save the GQHF!
