Goal
FCC members will have the support of other FCC members with a similar role in a mentoring relationship.
Purpose
The purpose of the relationship is to support the mentee in their current camp role, as well as their career and spiritual goals. It is an opportunity to share knowledge, expertise, resources and support.
Expectations:
Mentor
- Initiate meeting and conversation
- Set up regular meeting times and relationship expectations
- Determine goals and expectations that will benefit the mentee
- Provide resources and information to assist
Mentee
- Be committed to the mentoring relationship
- Commitment to growth and regular meetings
Duration Guideline: 6 months to 1 year, with an option to renew at their own discretion.
Evaluation Process: FCC will provide an evaluation form or process at the end of the duration.
Other Opportunities:
Peer Support
Executive Directors or camp staff wanting to connect regularly with another member in a similar position.
Camp Ministry Support
Experienced camp professionals who are willing to step in and provide support to other FCC members in a specific situation or crisis within the camp operation.
Application Process:
