Things to Know:

•Our headquarters is located in New Bedford, MA 

•Our company travels throughout eastern Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and on rare occassion Connecticut or New Hampshire. (If you are CT based you will be assigned gigs closer to you.) We will assign gigs to you according to distance.

Example: If a gig appears in Boston and you are based in Rhode Island, the gig will first be given to those in the area unless specified.

•Our work is gig based which means events are booked only on client's request which include private parties, public events, seasonal and Ever After Storybook specific events. 

Qualtifications of Team Members:

• Strong ability to multitask and improvise
• Clear communication skills
• Punctuality and time management
• Strong collaboration in team environments
• Comfortable performing in front of large or small audiences
• Range of performance skills to perform as multiple different characters (makeup skills required)
• Able to stand for long periods of time and carry up to 40lbs comfortably

Casting:

To continue our mission of ensuring meaningful representation and authentically portraying characters for children, we use a “merchandise-based” casting method. This means our performers are cast based on the characters’ appearance as depicted on officially licensed merchandise- such as school backpacks, dolls, party supplies, and similar products.

By aligning our casting choices with how characters are represented across widely available merchandise, we maintain consistency and authenticity in our performances. For this reason, we do not follow theme-park casting guidelines.

Please note that applicants who are accepted will be invited to our in-person audition. 

Pay Rate & Structure
Payment is made via CashApp, Zelle, Venmo, or Paypal.
We ask that you have access to these methods of payment.

• Performer: $70/hour
• Assistant: $70/hour
• Mermaid Performer (Swim Parties Only): $90/hour
• Pretty Princess Parties (Princess Ball): $250 flat day rate

Scheduling
We use Google Calendar to assign shifts to our performers. We require all performers to create a gmail account (if you already have one please feel free to use that.) We expect everyone to consistently update their calendar with any conflicts you may have, any dates you do not have any conflicts scheduled you may receive a booking for that day/time.

 

Office Space
We occasionally require cast members to travel to our office located in New Bedford, MA for meetings, trainings, costume pick ups, etc. (you will be notified ahead of time so that you can plan accordingly). If you live you far from our headquarters, when it comes to costume pick ups, we will work with you to coordinate.

Training/meetings require in person attendance.

 

Google Folder
We use Google Folder to provide important information and access to training material. All cast members will have access to their individual folder.
