    The Northern Districts Tigers Junior Australian Football Club are calling for Expressions of Interest (EOI) from member for a number of committee positions, coach, assistant coach, manager and team game day volunteer roles for 2022. Please complete attached form to register your interest. Request a response prior to Fri 18 Feb 22, noting there is a committee, coach, manager induction day scheduled on Sat 19 Feb 22 at WBRSL.   • COMMITTEE

    The Committee are responsible for the operation and governance of the club. The key committee positions are filled following the Annual General Meeting late last year as follows: President - Matt Phillips, Vice President - Luke Ellery, Secretary - Tania Jones, Treasurer/Equipment - Ben Shum, Registrar - Elizabeth Phillips, Communications - Kathy Turner, First Aid Child Safety - Kellie Grose, First Aid - Sean Cooke and Canteen Coordinator - Ella Morris. A few EOIs post the AGM are still being confirmed. The positions still open for new volunteers to help support the club in 2022 are as follows:
  • TEAM COACHES

    Team Coaches / Coach Assistants are the engine room of the club operations and play a largest and most important role in player / team development and competition. A number of experienced coaches have already expressed an interest in returning in 2022 as follows: U9 – Mick Foran, U11 - Ben Shum, U13 - Mick Carey, U15G - Dave Fittock, U15 - Mark McPhee and Jade Collyer, U17G - Josh McLarnen, U17 - Kevin Pritchard and Jason Hinds. Coaches are still needed for AUSKICK, U11G, U13G as well as assistant coaches for most teams. Older junior players (U15/U17) are strongly encouraged to nominate to assist younger teams as coach assistants.
  • TEAM MANAGERS

    Team Managers are vital to the club function for the organisation and coordination of teams both during pre season, training and game day in off field aspects. The role includes: team communication, uniform/ merchandise distribution, jersey # allocation, game day coordination /team sheets, games scoring, award tally, team events. Induction and training will be provided during preseason at Coaches and Manager induction day and on the job. The role can be shared.
  • Team Game Day Volunteers

    During the season there are a number of team game day volunteer roles to help the running games both home and away. When at home each team must provide a ground manager, first aid officer and emergency response coordinator (U13 and above). For both home and away games each team needs to provide a goal umpire, runner and water carrier/s. Training will be provided/ funded by the club for these roles either in house and/or externally during preseason / on the job.
