Club Plate Renewal
Victorian Members Only
Club Plate Renewal can be done in one of two ways:
1. Club Permit Endorsement Form: This is the Club's preferred method.
2. Club Permit Renewal Form.
Club Permit Endorsement Form Method
1. Open a myVicRoads online-account if you don't already have one.
NB. A my VicRoads account cannot be created using a Club permit No. Plate. For classic cars when first
entered into a myVicRoads online account it takes some time for them to appear, from memory around
a couple of weeks or so. Modern cars are there immediately probably because the two are on different
systems.
2. Request the Club Permit Officer (Secretary) e-mail you a completed signed Permit Endorsement Form. Send details of the car with the request. For car details required See Form
3. Make payment with your myVicRoads online-account. You will be instructed to upload the completed endorsement form. See FAQ’s.
Renewal Form Method.
1. Send your signed (by applicant) annual Club Permit Renewal form to
Secretary
PO Box 52
Balwyn
3013
for secretary to sign.
Please do the right thing and enclose a stamp addressed envelope.
( This is time consuming, allow up to a month)
2. or Get the form signed at a club meeting.
3. Once the form is signed by the Club secretary or authorised Club person there is then the choice of paying at VicRoads or online if you have a myVicRoads account. If paying online you will be requested to upload the completed form.
If using Windows 10 Firefox browser you may have difficulty with the “Renew” button after logging in to VicRoads.
Mark Browne has the answer.
“I found on my Windows 10 Firefox browser, that I had to change the security setting in Firefox down from "Strict" (my normal setting) to "Standard", or else the VicRoads button to renew the permit simply did nothing (and a couple of other web page actions also failed to work). This was after successfully logging into the "My Vicroads" site, for which the security setting didn't seem to matter.”
