    Comprehensive driving & navigation training course for women.
  • Take a 2-Day Navigation School or 2-Day Driving School or combine both for the Fundamental 4-Day Intensive Rebelle U. The curriculum will benefit participants in the Rebelle Rally or similar type of navigation rally or automotive-based adventure travel. You will enjoy a significant learning experience, while instilling excellent navigation and off-road adventure skills with practice! Both classes are lead by Emily Miller, Chrissie Beavis and a highly experienced group of professional instructors. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND TAKING BOTH COURSES IN SUCCESSION.

    NOTE: The Driving portion of this training is currently sold out as of 05-25-2022. Teams registering for the driving course after this date will be placed on a waitlist. Navigation course is still OPEN.

    August 25-26, 2022
    2-Day DRIVE TRAINING (4x4 or all-wheel drive vehicle required)

    This 2-day class is dedicated to teaching off-road driving skills. This course will help people with either beginner or intermediate skills, and is a great learning environment and welcoming, encouraging instruction in a relaxed environment. 

    DAY 1 - Knowing your vehicle / vehicle systems including 4WD / the lifetime fundamentals = 3 skills + 3 questions / ascending & descending / refining technique & skills

    DAY 2 - Introduction to sand driving / basic recovery / tires / vehicle troubleshooting

    - Additional topics include choosing the proper equipment, packing & communication

     

    August 27-28, 2022
    2-Day NAVIGATION COURSE (vehicle not required)

    This 2-day class is dedicated to teaching navigation skills. This course will help people with either beginner or intermediate navigation skills and take place in a classroom setting as well as outdoor practical use.

    DAY 1 - Basic principles / skills / tools / map reading & interpretation / coordinates / plotting headings & distances / plotting latitude & longitude / route planning / Return students have a choice to focus on plotting, route planning, or roadbook enduro calculations, equipment & calibration factors, and communication.

    DAY 2 - Enduro calculations / CP plotting / driving & navigating enduro roadbook / driving & navigating checkpoints / how to train

    PRICING:

    You must bring a 4x4 or all-wheel drive vehicle for the driving course.  
    Vehicles are limited to 2 participants. Both participants will learn the skills as well as work as a team.  We recommend 2 people per vehicle for the 4-day class (but not necessary). Navigation course is priced per participant. Driving course is priced per vehicle.

    NAVIGATION = $275 per person per day

    DRIVE TRAINING = $395 per vehicle per day

    4-DAY INTENSIVE = $1890 for a team of two people

    Cost includes instruction, maps, roadbooks and handouts. It does not include lodging or meals.
    An EMT will be onsite.

    ACCOMMODATIONS:

    Due to heat, we recommend staying in a local hotel. There are several clean hotels in Ridgecrest within a 15 minute drive of base camp. We recommend Springhill Suites by Marriott.

    Food will be ordered and delivered and costs paid by the participants who want to participate. Participants will be given a list of recommended dinner locations with outside dining. 

    HEAT:

    This training has been scheduled due to accommodate participants in the 2022 Rebelle Rally. It will be hot. Scheduling will start earlier in the mornings and break during the hottest portion of the day and reconvene for a final session if necessary.

    After submitting registration application, a secure link will be sent for payment. A 3% online payment fee will be applied.

    Registration & Cancellation Policy:
    A 50% deposit is required. 50% is required by arrival date. No refunds if cancellation is made within 21 days of the event.
