2022 Propel Greenville Candidate Application

Propel Greenville, a collabative initiative between the Greenville Chamber and the United Way of Greenville County, is a six-week board training and executive leadership program. Propel Greenville exposes participants to integral elements of board membership and prepares them for effective board and committee service.

It is our goal to support non-profit agencies by equipping leaders to take active roles in community boards and committees. The 2022 dates and topics are listed below. Propel Greenville sessions will meet in person at the United Way of Greenville County from 2:00 - 5:00pm and also delivered in a hybrid option for participants who are unable to attend in person.

Attend and fully engage in all program sessions which will be delivered in an in-person and hybrid (virtual) format.
Complete the on-boarding information provided upon acceptance to confirm your space in the Propel Greenville class.
Pay the full program fee of $500 in full prior to the beginning of Propel.

Propel Greenville offers a limited number of partial scholarships, not to exceed $250. If you would like to request a scholarship, please indicate YES below and email Tami Miller (tmiller@greenvillechamber.org) to receive scholarship information and request form.

I understand that Propel Greenville requires a substantial time commitment. If selected, I will attend ALL training sessions unless my absence is absolutely unavoidable and that I notify the program leaders ahead of time. More than ONE (1) absence may result in failure to complete the training. I am aware that after graduation I am encouraged to serve on a board or committee within twelve (12) months. I also understand the tuition payment of $500 is due prior to the first class session.
