• Volunteer Application & Waiver

  • Thank you for your interest in helping our animals! We are excited about your desire to volunteer, and we hope that you will enjoy working with our group! Please note that any C.A.R.E. volunteer must be at least 18 years of age. We apologize for the inconvenience if you do not reach that criteria, but this regulation is in place for the safety of our animals, staff, guests, and other volunteers. Please complete the following application and waiver, and a C.A.R.E. representative will be in touch within 5 business days. C.A.R.E. Farm Sanctuary's main volunteer seasons run March through June and September through December, when temperatures are safest for outdoor work. We also host occasional volunteer days during the summer and winter months. Applications are accepted year-round, and we'll reach out when opportunities are available. If you you are not contacted within one week or have any additional questions, please email melissa@careshelter@gmail.com. Thanks again!

  • C.A.R.E. Farm Sanctuary volunteers must be at least 18 years old. Volunteers provide services in a variety of ways, which many include assisting in mobile adoptions at an offsite location, helping with fundraising efforts, or assisting us at our sanctuary on 7275 farm road 1190. I understand that any animal may be unpredictable, and that farm animals, including large animals such as horses and pigs, present additional risks due to their size and strength. I understand that there are always risks involved when working with or around animals, and that neither C.A.R.E. nor its representatives are responsible for any illness or injury caused by any animals I come into contact with during volunteer work.

*It is our recommendation that your tetanus vaccination be up to date before you begin volunteering.

I agree to hold harmless and release from liability C.A.R.E., should I become sick or injured as a result of my volunteer work.
