Welcome to Bear's Fantasy Malamutes. We are located in the beautiful Southern California. All our pups are hand-raised in our home with unconditional love and care. We selectively breed our malamutes to produce quality pups with amazing temperaments. We understand that every family is different, therefore there are no right or wrong answers. We're looking to get to know you and the family before placing our pups in your love and care. Please answer honestly and to the best of your ability as every puppy family has different needs, and this application helps us identify what homes might make the best fit.

Puppy Picking
We understand that picking a puppy can be a very exciting time for our potential puppy buyers, so starting at 6 weeks of age we will allow our approved buyers on our waiting list to make their picks in the order of deposit placement. We require a $700 non-refundable deposit to hold your spot on the waiting list. The deposit will go towards the final purchase price of the puppy. We completely understand the urge for potential puppy parents to want to come meet our puppies, however we do not allow any visitors until the puppies are at least 6 weeks of age. In the meantime we can set up facetime calls for you to meet the pups. At 6 weeks of age the puppies will also have their first round of shots which protects them against certain illnesses very common in puppies. We will post weekly updates (at least!) of our puppies so you can see many photos and videos of the puppies until you are able to come meet them! If you prefer to wait to make your pick until you can meet the puppies we are more than happy to allow you to come choose in person after the puppies are 6 weeks of age. There is a risk that our puppies may all be placed prior to you meeting them as we are unable to hold puppies without a deposit. Ownership Commitment
Puppies are a lifelong commitment and should not be a spontaneous decision. If at any point, you decide you are no longer able to care for the pup to the best of your ability, we must be contacted and the pup returned to us. Alaskan Malamutes require frequent coat care as they shed often. Shaving should not be done for a malamute as they have a double coat which allows them to better regulate their body temperatures in extreme weather. Are you able to commit to the amount of coat care required to own a malamute?*

What to expect
Completing this application is a step in the process to acquiring a Bear's Fantasy Malamute pup, but it does not guarantee you'll get a puppy from this or any future litter. While it's unlikely, the breeder reserves the right to refuse any placement at any time. If this application is approved, you'll be notified when the pregnancy is confirmed and be required to send a $700 non-refundable deposit in order to hold your place on the waiting list. Once again, Deposits are non-refundable. We reserve first pick on all litters. From time to time we may decide to keep a puppy out of a litter. We reserve the right to hold puppies. This may mean that certain puppies may not be available for a couple weeks while we decide on if we may keep that puppy or not. Puppies will go to their new homes at 8 weeks. Puppies must be picked up within 7 days unless other written arrangements are made. We have a contract and will not place a puppy without a signed contract. If you have questions about specific terms, please contact us prior to picking up your puppy. If you purchase "Limited Registration" we require spay/neuter at 18-24 months. Proof of the procedure from your vet is required before we will release the said dog's registration papers. *We will not allow any puppy to leave our property prior to 8 weeks of age, NO EXCEPTIONS*
