The responsibilities of the HoPe Leadership Chapter Vice President of Education include, but are not limited to:
1. Collaborate with HoPe Staff and Team members to provide educational resources and opportunities for your chapter.
2. Organize and lead workshops and educational opportunities that are relevant to your chapter members' needs.
3. Lead the planning and execution of your chapter's HoPe Night in the fall semester.
4. Collaborate and serve as a liaison between teachers, school staff (counselors, graduation coaches, etc.), or external organizations to provide educational programming for your chapter members.
5. Ensure all educational activities align with HoPe's mission and values
6. Assist in the planning and development of all HoPe Leadership Chapter meetings, events, and officer meetings.
7. Provide assistance and support to the HoPe Leadership Chapter President when requested.
8. Must maintain a clean discipline record. Failure to do so may result in the removal as an officer.
9. Must attend the mandatory HoPe Youth Leadership Summit from July 17th - 19th at the University of North Georgia in Gainesville, GA.
We encourage the Vice President of Education to bring a strong passion for education and a commitment to engaging with their community. In this role, the Vice President of Education will oversee all education-focused programming, resources, and events, playing a key role in fostering growth and learning within the chapter. Comprehensive training will be provided at the HoPe Youth Leadership Summit, with continuous support and guidance available throughout the school year.
