Prerequisite Information

Completion of all prerequisite courses listed on the Curriculum Guide with a minimum grade of "C" with the exception of Anatomy and Physiology courses which requires a minimum grade of "B-". BIO 141 and BIO 142 must be taken at the same school and may not be older than 5 years.

You MUST provide documentation for all health care experience. Documentation should include job description, length of service, and hours per week from supervisor on agency letterhead for work/volunteer hours completed in the past 5 years. All direct/indirect care must be for a minimum of 4 months and must be documented as such from the employer. All volunteer hours in a healthcare setting must be for a minimum of 40 hours and must be documented by the supervisor. Letters of healthcare experience must be included with application. Completing the Certified Nurse Aide, Phlebotomy, or any other short-term training does not qualify as work experience, with the exception of successful completion of the Public Health program and internship, and will be counted as indirect care.
