The application period for the 2022 High School Summer Research Exposure Program (SREP) at the Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine (WFIRM) is now open. The 4-week program runs June 20th to July 15th, 2022 and is for students, ages 16 to 18. All application materials, including the on-line application form and materials within the High School Application Packet, must be received by the March 1, 2022 application deadline. Applicants will be notified on or before May15, 2022.
All applicants must be 16 years of age on or before the first day of the 2022 SREP Program at WFIRM.
After completing the on-line application form, download the High School Application Packet. Complete each form included in the packet and mail completed packet to Joan F. Schanck, MPA, Director of High School Summer Research Exposure Program, Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine, Wake Forest University Health Sciences, Medical Center Boulevard, Winston-Salem, NC 27157-7290.
Online application and packet must be received no later than 5 p.m. on March 1, 2022.
A completed application packet includes:
- Completed on-line application form
- Completed materials/forms found in the High School Application Packet
- Signed Agreement and Parental Consent Form
- Teacher Recommendation Form (2 recommendations required)
