    Architype Digital Magazine welcomes original, well-written articles on areas pertinent to architecture, i.e., building codes, climate, construction, community, diversity, energy, equity and inclusion, sustainability, etc., from members and other allied professionals. You do not need to have any formal writing experience or have been published elsewhere to submit for the magazine. Please fill out the form below
    • Do familiarize yourself with the style and content of the magazine before sending in any article ideas. Click here for past issues.
    • Articles must be non-promotional. Any promotional-based articles will be rejected.

  • Reservation date: The 25th of the month previous to the issue submission.
    Submission date: The 6th of the month of the issue requested.

    • Feature articles range from 300 - 600 words in a Microsoft Word document format.
    • Please make sure you are aware of the copyright status for any articles/images supplied.
    • All photographs submitted need to be high resolution with photography credit if applicable.

    • You are solely responsible for all content and information contained and the consequences of submitting it.

    • By submitting your content, you expressly grant AIA Connecticut and the Website the right to use, edit, and distribute it in any manner and in all media.
    • You are the sole owner of all content within your article.
    • By submitting your article you waive any privacy expectations you may have with regards to your submission. Do not include any private or personally identifiable information in your piece that you do not want shared publicly.
    • You understand that AIA Connecticut will select submissions at their sole discretion and are under no obligation to publish it.
    • You agree to indemnify and hold AIA Connecticut harmless from and against any third-party claims alleging that your submission violates their rights.
