BIMM Institute Music Colleges are proud to launch a new educational partnership with Spotify which includes a package of scholarships, resources, masterclass events and mentoring to support and accelerate diversity in music education and the creative industries.
The Diversity & Inclusion Scholarships will be available for the 2022/23 academic year (academic entry September 2022), exclusively for domestic applicants from underrepresented groups. Recognising the importance of accessibility and equality, the Diversity & Inclusion Scholarships promote diversity in terms of origin, school background, physical ability and family and financial background.
Each BIMM Institute College will offer 1X BA/BMus (Hons) Undergraduate Scholarship that will cover tuition fees for 3-years of study, for applicants of German nationality or permanent residence.
Only applicants holding an offer of study at either BIMM Institute Berlin or Hamburg will be eligible to apply for the Spotify Scholarship Programme, at the point of the scholarship application deadline. Further conditions apply, and can be found on the Scholarships & Bursaries webpage.
Scholarship applicants are required to submit a portfolio to evidence their ability within a chosen subject specialism. The portfolio will be evaluated by a panel including three members of the BIMM Institute academic faculty, and an external industry professional. The panel will be chaired by the College Principal.
