Dash / Class Connect
AIDB in collaboration with the National Technical Institute for the Deaf has formed the NTID Regional STEM Center (NRSC), which is housed on the campus of AIDB in Talladega, AL. The mission of the NRSC is to promote STEM educational initiatives and career awareness for students who are Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing in primary and secondary schools. As a part of our STEM educational initiatives for students who are Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing, we provide subscriptions for a DASH robot via Class Connect. After completing this form, you will be contacted by a member of our NRSC team to let you know of the availability of your request and to schedule a DASH and Class Connect training. One Dash robot will be sent to you along with a video Webinar link that shows how to use the Dash robot. At this time, there is no Class Connect video yet but one will come soon. If you can't wait, indicate that below and we can set up a training. Once you have completed the Webinar, you will be asked to fill out an evaluation. Upon completing the evaluation, a second Dash robot will be sent to you.
