SWIMMING POOL & BBQ AREA RULES & REGULATIONS
HOURS OF OPERATION: 6AM TO 9PM
POOL IS NOT RATED FOR NIGHT SWIMMING
1. This is a private pool with admittance by card-fob access only. It is for the use of Lake Castleberry residents and paid residents from The Point and Shenandoah only. Anyone using this facility without authorization is subject to arrest for trespassing by Apex Police.
2. There is no lifeguard on duty. All pool goers may use the pool at their own risk during the hours of operation. Lake Castleberry Owners Association will not be responsible for any accidents or injury within the pool gate. Use of the pool indicates acceptance of these conditions. Two first aid kits are present on the property. One is located under the clubhouse where the pool bathrooms are located. The second is in the kitchen of the clubhouse. The emergency telephone is located by the door to the bathrooms.
3. The pool area is for private use, members and their guests only. Limit of 4 guests per household. Residents must accompany guests while at the pool. Anyone using this facility without authorization is subject to arrest for trespassing.
4. No running, boisterous or rough play.
5. No diving allowed in any section of the pool.
6. Adult supervision for all children under the age of 14 is required.
7. No persons under the influence of alcohol or drugs may use the pool.
8. No person with skin rash, eye infection, ear infection, fever, open sore, nasal infection, or communicable disease are allowed in the pool.
9. Persons who are incontinent, or not potty-trained must wear proper swimming diapers and covers meant for swimming in the pool. No cloth or regular diapers allowed. It is the responsibility of the caregiver to follow these guidelines to prevent a temporary pool shutdown.
10. If in the event of defecation or vomit in the pool, notify via QR code or call 919-757-1718. Signage is located near emergency telephone by the entry of the toilet rooms. Everyone must get out of the water until cleaning is complete.
11. No animals or pets are allowed inside of the pool gates.
12. No glass bottles allowed inside of the pool gate.
13. No smoking or vaping allowed in facility grounds including the gated pool area and clubhouse area.
14. No gum allowed inside the pool gate.
15. Umbrellas must be closed after use each day.
16. Use of the grill is on a first come, first serve basis. The grill cannot be reserved or rented. The user must supply their own propane tank. The user is responsible for cleaning up after use, including scrubbing food remnants offinside and around the grill.
17. All furniture must be returned to its original state and place after use. Tables and chairs may be moved for larger gatherings but must be returned to their original locations.
18. No inflatable devices are allowed such as big beach balls, loungers, tubes, etc.
19. Bathing suits and pool shoes are only allowed inside the pool. Please no undergarments or street clothes and shoes.
20. It is recommended you shower before entering the pool.
*Management reserves the right to deny use of the pool to anyone at any time if rules are found violated.

I hereby acknowledge the receipt of the LAKE CASTLEBERRY POOL & BBQ AREA RULES & REGULATIONS and agree to abide by the terms and conditions contained therein and by such future terms and conditions as may be approved by the Lake Castleberry Board of Directors. Membership runs from 1/1-12/31 of each year only and must be renewed annually. Membership does not include use of lake, walking trails, or any other common areas of the community.
