First things first!

No Good is a community of tattoo artists in Austin, Texas. Our artists use both handpoke and machine methods including self taught and apprenticed artists. We are a community that encourages individuals in all stages of their tattoo careers. While No Good welcomes all, we want to intentionally invite BIPOC and queer tattooers into our space! Please don't hesitate to apply, regardless of years of experience or follower count. No Good is a space that values learning and openmindedness. We love seeing new, unique styles of tattooing and hope to learn from each guest that comes through our doors.

We specifically look for unique art style, clean linework, good healed results, and most importantly shared values when we consider who we invite into the space.

We love hosting guest artists from a wide range of experience and skill levels! We also strive to be transparent to our client base about each artists' tattooing background so they know what to expect during and after their tattoo. Please answer the following questions fully. We will use the information in your guest spot announcement. We consider artists that have been tattooing for six or more months and don't require any previous shop experience.

We have strict sanitary protocols here at the shop! We strive to keep our artists and clients safe.

We require all guests to do a check in the day before their first appointment in the space. This includes a lot of important information that will help familiarize yourself with the space. Since we host guests of all different backgrounds, our check in includes a guided station set up and break down to ensure we are all on the same page about sanitation. We're known for our professional cleanliness and want to make sure we uphold that reputation. You can either show us your method or we can show you ours! If you're unsure if you have sanitary set up and breakdown knowledge, don't fret! We are happy to take however much time is needed :) By submitting this application, you are telling us you agree to these protocols.

No Good Tattoo is now a mask-optional space as of August 1, 2023. We will still be providing disposable medical masks and many of our artists and clients will still be wearing masks, especially during the tattooing process. While guesting here, feel free to require your clients wear masks. Additionally, you can request that the whole shop (all tattooers, clients, and guests) wear masks during your time at No Good. This will not affect our decision to host you at the shop! Please let us know if you would like to request this accommodation.
