Please list all time frames needed. (e.g. 4pm - 12am) For a great Dance Party, I recommend the Dance Floor portion to be no more than 2.5 - 3 hours, UNLESS you and your guests are absolute party animals that will be dancing all night long.

The Wedding Party Processional is the music played as the Wedding Party proceeds down the aisle during a ceremony. (It can be more than 1 song)

You can provide the song selection now or later, closer to the event day.

If there are a lot of people involved in the Processional, one short song may not be enough. If this is the case, consider choosing a longer song, or have a backup song in mind, or we can loop the song if you prefer.

The Signing of the Wedding Registry is an important component of a wedding ceremony. This time is typically accompanied with background music played as the bride and groom, two witnesses, and officiant sign the papers. This moment is also accompanied with photos and can take up to 3-5 minutes (usually longer than you might expect).

It can be a good idea to have a backup song prepared!

The Recessional is the music played as the wedding party is exiting the ceremony (and then often walks back in too). This is a big moment as the newly weds are publicly introduced as Mr. & Mrs. for the first time!

We should aim for a song that reflects the two of you, and try to find a part in the song that is most hype, or lyrically the most meaningful. Once you've picked the song, the DJ can offer some recommendations on Fade In times of when to start the song.

Dance Floor (for you and your guests)

For the next set of questions, think about the music you'd want during the dance floor accommodating for all the guests you think will want to dance!

Don't forget to include your parents, their friends and other older uncles and aunties. You'd be surprised. At most weddings, the parents' generation like to dance to (at least) a few songs within the first 15 minutes, so this would usually be the best time to play a few older classics (e.g. September, YMCA, etc.) for them before they start to fizzle out.

    Dance Floor Tip:

As the night goes on and older guests head out, the dance floor energy often shifts. If the Bride and Groom step away from the Dance Floor to mingle or say their goodbyes to leaving guests, the DJ may need to start playing to the crowd—especially if you're not around.

You’re strongly encouraged to share your Must-Plays and Do-Not-Play lists, for musical preferences, but the truth is: your presence matters.

If you want a packed, high-energy dance floor, the best way to make it happen is to be on it. When you dance, your guests follow.

Typically at the start of the Dance Floor, there may be parents, uncles and aunties who might want to dance (to songs like September, ABBA, YMCA, Celebration, or some Uptown Funk, etc). The DJ will mix in some older classics for the older crowd (within the first 15 mins or so before moving into the music you've selected previously) unless specified otherwise.

In your ideal world, what song do you want to end the night with? End on a big note with an upbeat/hype song (e.g. Love Story, Give Me Everything), or end with a slow meaningful song (e.g. Enchanted, When You Look Me In The Eyes)? Or you don't really care and just want to go with the flow and let the DJ figure it out (that's ok too!)

On a scale of 1-5, how much do you want the DJ to take charge of executive decisions regarding music, song choices, timing, finalizing dinner music, etc.? 1: I am very particular and want the DJ to execute MY plans (I have specific preferences and input to provide). 5: I trust the DJ completely and would prefer they handle everything without my involvement.
