The Refferals Terms & Conditions • The Referrals has a policy of only one industry per group. New guests must contact the Group manager before attending the group for permission to visit. Members are encouraged to bring referrals and/or visitors to their group as this assists all members and also aids the visitors. Members must only advertise their primary business, not a part time business, unless agreed to in writing with the owners. • Membership may be shared within a company, and belongs to the person or company who purchased it. This can be transferred to a new employee should the member leave that employment, at the discretion of the The Referrals management team. • Members wishing to transfer to another Successful networking group must have prior approval in writing from the The Referrals management team. Please always maintain a professional standard when representing yourself or your company, (And always respect others in the group).Always follow up leads/referrals as soon as possible and if possible report back to the referrer, ensuring you always provide quality of service at the prices you have quoted. • Each member may have no more than one absence per month in any given 6 month period. Exceptions can be made in regards to illness, family issues etc. This must be discussed with the group manager initially and followed up to keep The Referrals updated. We do not count absences over the annual holidays between 23rd December and 31st January each year. Ideally if a member can arrange a person to stand in as a substitute if they cannot attend a meeting, then this will not count as an absence. Guests and substitutes must not clash with another members industry. Please check with your group manager before inviting your substitute or guest. • As part of our relationships with our venue hosts every member / guest who attends a Successful Networking Group meeting MUST purchase a minimum of 1 beverage per attendee. This supports our venues hosts businesses and reinforces the ethos of networking. Memberships are for a 12 month period, from the date of invoice. Memberships are reviewed annually and may be renewed at the discretion of the management team. Payment is due 14 days from the invoice date unless by prior arrangement with the owners. • Non Members may attend group meetings up to four times or one calendar month whichever comes first, free of charge. During or immediately after this period you have the opportunity to apply to join. Please be aware that some industries are a popular choice for networking groups and it is possible to have more than 1 person/company applying at the same time. • New membership is accepted at the discretion of the management team of The Referrals. Existing members may visit other groups for up to 4 meetings per calendar year as long as they do not clash with another members industry in that group. In all cases please check with the group manager before attending. • Members and Non Members including previous members or guests may not use the Successful Networking brand name or logo to manufacture, distribute, sell, market, or promote any product or service without obtaining the prior written consent from the owners. In the case of a problem relating to a member’s business practices or commitment to the group, the owners may, at their sole discretion take appropriate action, which can include but is not solely limited to termination of membership with the forfeiture of any fees. • Having access to other members' contact details is for the purpose of referrals and general communication and not for other means such as spamming. The Referrals may establish groups in any city/town with people interested in developing a similar business group. The Referrals also reserves the right to open more than one group per city/town. • All competitions undertaken by The Referrals are full and final at the discretion of the owners and the result is not open to appeal. Also any group manager engaged by The Referrals is not eligible to enter any competition for the group run by them on behalf of The Referrals. The owners or management team are also ineligible to enter any competition. • Fees are non-refundable. A certificate of credit for future use at The Referrals may be given for the unused portion of the membership under certain circumstances. Not having time to attend the meetings is not a valid reason. • All members will indemnify The Referrals against any liability for any statements or actions the member may make or take. All members must undertake to be responsible for up to date liability and professional indemnity for themselves. • The Referrals does not endorse the capabilities or professional expertise of any of its members, nor does it take any responsibility for disputes between members, and does not accept any liability to any party for any dispute a member may have with another member. The management team are the only persons entitled to represent The Referrals in any relationships with the public via the media and so forth. Each member agrees not to take any action or make any claim against the group manager, management group or owners of The Referrals. • The Referrals terms and conditions are subject to change without notice. The management team will however aim to notify all changes to the members as soon as practicable. By applying for membership to The Referrals you agree to The Referrals emailing you periodic information about your membership status, the weekly meeting newsletter and any other relevant information. You also provide permission for The Referrals to publish any photographs taken of you at The Referrals events along with your name and likeness, and also for use in any The Referrals marketing materials, as well as other company communications. Should a member fail to comply with the above terms your membership may be revoked without refund, with one day’s written notice. PRIVACY STATEMENT The Referrals will take all reasonable precautions in accordance with the Privacy Act 1993 to safeguard its members' personal information against loss, misuse or unauthorised use or disclosure. Personal information held by Successful Networking about its members can be accessed by the members, and the members have the right to request correction of that information, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1993. Members who do not wish to be listed on the The Referrals public website can elect not to display their details at any time by advising The Referrals in writing giving 7 (seven) days’ notice.
