• The Sharon Hunt Emerging Leader Award Nomination Form

In 2020, the SAO Board of Directors established the Sharon Hunt Emerging Leader Award to recognize an emerging leader who has made significant contributions to advancing the mission of the SAO, its Component Organizations, and/or the AAO. Following the combination of operations of the Southwestern Society of Orthodontists and the Southern Association of Orthodontists in 2025, the award was designated as an SSO Award. This change honors Ms. Sharon Hunt, who managed both associations and championed their unification, embodying the spirit of collaboration and progress.
