Thank you for your interest in entering the 13th annual Poster Contest for the Vista Strawberry Festival! The theme of the artwork should reflect the flavor and spirit of the Vista Strawberry Festival.
GUIDELINES AND DETAILS
Eligibility: All entrants must be 14 years of age or older. All artwork and each entry must be original in concept, design, and execution and may not violate any U.S. copyright laws. Any entry violating copyright laws will be disqualified and not be accepted for consideration.
Prizes:

1st place $150.00 and your artwork will be featured on Vista Strawberry Festival 2023 poster, literature and advertisements for the festival.

2nd place winner will receive $100.00.

3rd place winner will receive $50.00
Poster Content: Size of artwork no smaller than 11" x 17" with festival theme. All traditional media (oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, etc.) and digital media will be eligible. No photographs please. DO NOT include any lettering or wording regarding the festival name and dates. Contest open to all artists in all states in the U.S.A.
Entry Fees: $5.00 per entry, payable through this form.
Entering Your Images: Fill out the registration form below and use to upload a 2MB to 10MB .jpg or .png file of your poster. Up to 4 entries will be accepted from each artist.
Once payment has been verified, artists will be notified of acceptance or non-acceptance via e-mail. Only winning entries will be notifies by telephone.
DEADLINE for entries: All submissions with payment must be received via this form by May 15. We will notify the top three considerations by May 22. The announcement of the winners will be on Sunday, May 29, 2022 at the Festival Main Stage. (Time to be determined)
Judges: Judges will include Vista Chamber of Commerce members, sponsors, and professional artists.
Rights for Usage: By submitting to this contest, all contestants agree to release use of artwork to be reproduces for the event publication poster. Additionally, the art may or may not be used for incidental items such as banners/posters/television spots/on Facebook/the Chamber of Commerce and City of Vista websites/other social media and other materials as part of promotional venues promoting the Vista Strawberry Festival.
